Weigh in at induction, advance through adaptation and finishing, then sell and complete the cycle.

A pen-fattening lot moves through four stages: Induction (animals arrive and are processed), Adaptation (they adjust to the ration), Finishing (full feed to target weight) and Go to Market. The project screen shows the current stage and what is needed to advance.

  1. 1Induction: weigh every animal in and record group treatments such as dipping. These records are the lot's baseline.
  2. 2Advance the lot to Adaptation once induction work is done — the app checks the evidence before letting the stage advance.
  3. 3Keep weighing through Adaptation and Finishing; the lot's average daily gain shows whether the ration is working.
  4. 4Advance to Go to Market when animals reach target condition.
  5. 5Record the sale of the animals, then complete the cycle to close out the project.

Note: Stage advancement is evidence-based: the app expects real records (weigh-ins, treatments) before a lot moves forward, so a completed cycle is a trustworthy history, not just ticked boxes.
