Set up pens

Register your cattle enclosures with capacity, and track which animals are in which pen.

  1. 1Open the menu and go to Master Data → Pens.
  2. 2Tap the add button.
  3. 3Give the pen a name or number, choose its type and set its capacity.
  4. 4Save. The pen list shows each pen's occupancy — empty, partly full or full.

Note: Capacity is a hard limit: the app will not let you move more animals into a pen than it can hold. Pens are used most in pen-fattening projects, where a lot of cattle is housed together.
